A no nonsense DIY 55 gallon high flow acrylic aquarium sump project utlizing 1/2" cell cast acrylic. The sump has a 40 gallon operating capacity with 10+ gallons of room for backflow during power outages. There is plenty of room for a DSB or live rock.

A silent and fail-safe aquarium overflow system based on the "coast-to-coast" or "Calfo" style of overflow box. This design makes the Durso and Stockman style of standpipes obsolete! No noise, no adjustment, no floods. It is truly a set and forget setup.
